More from Taos

I was just emailed a couple pictures from my trip to Taos. I thought I'd post one of them. As you can see, it was fairly cold there. The temperature was around 10 degrees every morning when we walked to the conference center (about 1.5 miles) but it would warm to around 50 deg. in the afternoon. The woman standing next to me was notified that she got tenure during the car ride out to the gorge. The chairman of her department called immediately after the vote. It was pretty fun to see her reaction when she got the phone call - she kept spontaneously laughing for about 2 hours.
