Finally the Christmas pictures......
Once again, I allowed quite abit of time pass between blog posts. Neysa's new high rate of blogging is making me feel like I need to step up the pace. I was browsing through the most recent photo's and see that we also have some pictures from Marna's baby shower. For those of you keeping track, the due date is 18 days away. The shower took place at Marna's bosses house and everyone was invited (rather than women only) , which was nice. We received lots of great presents and it was nice to have a pre-holiday party. Here we are with our new diaper pail. I think Marna has acquired the ability to hid her stomach whenever a camera is present. That's Marna's boss in the background for anyone who's interested.

We had Christmas in New York this year. We were originally planning on staying home but decided to risk it and travel 4.5 hours north. Marna called the insurance company beforehand and we found out that the out of pocket expense wouldn't be too much if Marna went into early labor. We were only there for a few days and it was a pretty relaxed, low-key affair, which is a good thing as far as holidays go. We did the usual posing in front of the tree thing - it always seems like that's good for a laugh. The Yandeau's have a hard time sitting still while that red light is flashing.

Lastly, I've started tying my own trout flies for fishing. I've even started to catch fish with them. Here's the first six I made - minus a couple that looked terrible. In clock-wise order starting in the upper left: San Juan worm, Wooly bugger, green caddis, all-purpose nymph, caddis nymph, and olive scud.

The next post will probably be the baby's room. Its almost finished, Marna is putting the final touches on some wall hangings.
